Loving this time

Yesterday, Sunday, was a really great day!! Started the day going to church.  Snowy Ridge Church in Fort Collins, Co.  This is Bonnie and Matt's church.  We have visited here every time we come to visit Bonnie and Matt over the past 15 yrs. and know a lot of the members.  They told me Sunday that we attend more regularly than some of their members.  Ha, Ha!!!  It was a great Sunday School lesson from I Kings.  The worship time was great as was their pastors sermon.  Great start to the day.

To Bonnie's for lunch.  We decided to pack up a picnic lunch and head out to a park about 10 miles up the road toward Estess Park.  OH MY!!!! What a beautiful place.  Lots of deep luscious shade, green and cool.  The Thompson River runs right by the park.  We spent the entire afternoon here. We left because it was getting cool.  Sandwiches, chips, potato salad, cokes, pickles and candy bars for dessert.  Then just before we left we had the watermelon that had been on ice all afternoon.  Sweet and delicious and cold!!!Just the way watermelon should be.

Bonnie and the girls spent a lot of time down by the water picking up pretty rocks.  I got some cute pictures of Emma and Molly while we were there.  The trees here were also starting to change color.  We walked the path through part of the park.  Papa spent some time showing the girls how to skip rocks in the water.  I don't think the girls ever got the hang of it, but Papa could make the rocks skip.

Another glorious day spent in the beauty of God's world.  I am so very thankful that God loves us so much that he refreshes us with such beauty.  When was the last time you stopped to enjoy God's beautiful world.  The beauty is there everywhere you look, if you just take the time to see it.

Today Bonnie did not have any Dr appointments.  We have stayed home to take care of some things here.  Lydell had some thinks he needed to do on the motor home.  And I cleaned house.  Did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen, living room, bedroom,  and bathroom; vacuumed, mopped and dusted.  Had everything done in 2 hours.  I like this RV living.  Can you clean your entire house and have everything done in 2 hours?  I could not in my 1600 sq ft house.  It usually took 2 days.  Now I have more time to spend on the computer without feeling guilty.

I think we will go in to Wal Mart in a little bit then over to Bonnie's to play with Emma and Molly.

Hope you all have a glorious, blessed day.
